How does it work?
Geocode your origin and destination addresses first. Pass the resulting coordinates as two groups to a distance-matrix calculation to obtain estimated journey lengths and durations per pair.
Where can you use this API?
Three depots and ten customers generate thirty origin–destination relationships. Use the matrix to choose the fastest depot for each customer or compare candidate locations for a new service center.
What should you consider?
Large matrices consume more resources than a single route. Split workloads when needed, reuse stable results and handle unreachable destinations explicitly.
